JOHN D. BEDINGFIELD

John Bedingfield has been the Rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Silsbee, Texas since February 2007. Prior to that he was the Associate Rector of Holy Spirit Episcopal in Houston, Texas. John received his M.Div. from the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest. He also holds a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law and a BA from the University of Texas at Dallas, where he graduated with honors.

He enjoys family time with Donna and their youngest child, Taylor, and whenever the opportunity arises, with his three grandsons. John is a movie and music fan – particularly jazz – and he works those passions into sermons wherever possible.
